An integral part of the Chihal ENT Associates team is our Licensed Clincal Audiologist, Laurie Bornstein, MS, CCC/A, who has 14+ years of experience as a Texas-licensed audiologist.
She received her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders, with a specialty in Audiology, from the University of Texas at Dallas. Laurie provides a wide
range of hearing related testing to evaluate hearing problems and vertigo. Laurie has the expertise and will take the time to custom fit hearing aids. She keeps
updated on the latest hearing aid technology by attending numerous audiology conferences and conventions throughout the year.

You Could Be At Risk
Based on the answers you have provided, you could be at risk of sleep apnea or other sleeping problems. We now have available free of charge to our patients a small personal pulse oximeter to use overnight to monitor your blood oxygen levels used to determine if you have sleep apnea or other sleep breathing problem. The first step is to schedule an appointment with either Dr. Chihal or Dr. Bryan. They will review your history and symptoms and perform a thorough examination of your mouth, throat ,and nose to determine if you have nasal obstruction, enlarged tonsils, a "floppy" soft palate and/or a crowded pharynx.
